Role: Senior Software Engineer (OpenShift Application Engineer)
Location: Charlotte, NC
Experience: 11+ Years Job Summary:
We re hiring a Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in OpenShift, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native development. You ll lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable, secure containerized applications and microservices in a high-performance enterprise environment. Key Skills:
6+ years of OpenShift, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm
Strong DevOps background; CI/CD (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
Scripting: Python, Bash, Go
Cloud Platforms: AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform
Secure container orchestration, networking, RBAC
Experience with Exstream Cloud Native is a plus
Databases: SQL Server, MongoDB, Postgres
Tech Stack: Java, Spring, Kafka, AVRO, Hibernate, Apigee
TDD/BDD, Test automation (Junit, Karate, Cucumber) Responsibilities:
Build and manage OpenShift-based infrastructure
Develop scalable microservices and cloud-native apps
Automate deployments, enhance performance & security
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
Maintain detailed documentation and ensure compliance
