Key Skills
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 15+ years of overall IT experience, with a minimum 5+ years in designing, architecting, and implementing solutions using AWS technologies.
- Advanced expertise with AWS services, solution architecture patterns, DevOps automation, and cloud security best practices.
- Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional are highly desirable.
- Strong skills in infrastructure as code (IaC), automation tools, cloud networking, and governance.
- Excellent problem-solving, stakeholder management, and leadership abilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication to articulate complex solutions to technical and non-technical audiences.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop scalable, maintainable, and high-performing AWS solutions, ensuring adherence to security, cost optimization, and compliance best practices.
- Gather business, functional, and technical requirements from stakeholders and translate them into modern cloud architectures.
- Lead cloud migration, solution modernization, and architectural governance efforts leveraging AWS offerings like EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, CloudFormation, IAM, etc..
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering, DevOps, and business teams to implement enterprise-grade solutions.
- Define architectural strategies for application design, integration, data management, and disaster recovery on AWS.
- Oversee solution implementation, performance tuning, system troubleshooting, and address scalability or reliability bottlenecks.
- Champion cloud governance policies, monitoring, and alerting systems for optimal AWS resource usage and compliance & Mentor junior architects and engineers, fostering best practices in AWS cloud adoption.
