Job Title: Snowflake Architect

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Snowflake Architect to design and implement robust, scalable data warehousing solutions on the Snowflake platform. As a key member of our data architecture team, you will be responsible for creating end-to-end data strategies, optimizing performance, and ensuring the security and integrity of our data infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and architect enterprise-grade data warehouse solutions using Snowflake.
Migrate legacy data warehouses (e.g., Teradata, Netezza, Redshift) to Snowflake.
Develop and implement data ingestion pipelines using tools such as Apache Airflow, Informatica, Matillion, or dbt.
Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and define data models (star/snowflake schemas).
Optimize Snowflake performance through clustering, caching, partitioning, and tuning best practices.Define and enforce data security policies using role-based access control (RBAC), data masking, and encryption.
Integrate Snowflake with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker) and external systems.
Establish data governance frameworks, metadata management, and monitoring strategies.
Stay updated on new Snowflake features and industry trends to guide long-term architectural decisions.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
7+ years of experience in data engineering or architecture roles.
3+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake Cloud Data Platform.
Strong knowledge of SQL, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data modeling concepts.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Familiarity with CI/CD processes and DevOps for data.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Snowflake SnowPro certification (Core or Advanced Architect).
Experience with Python, Spark, or Scala in a data context.
Background in regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) for data.
Experience working in Agile development environments.
Familiarity with DataOps or modern data stack concepts.
