Job Details

Role: Sr. Quality Assurance Engineer
Location: Denver, CO (Hybrid)
Duration: 12+ Months
Mandatory Skills: Selenium, Java, Python/Java Script, Postman, WEB API, Automation & Manual Testing
Requirements:
  • Test automation, Python, Java REST Assured, SOAP UI.
  • Agile and Jira experience required.
  • Addition preferred skills are SQL, AppDynamics, Kibana, and Concourse. Financial, payment and/or billing system background is preferred.
  • This environment has engineers working in Java, GO Lang, JQ, React, Oracle, Couchbase, and Cloud Technologies (AWS and/or Cloud Foundry).
  • Generally requires 5-10 years related experience

Responsibilities:
  • Must be a strong team player, an excellent communicator, and possess and display a positive attitude.
  • Must be able to learn quickly through self-guided learning.
  • Displays knowledge of engineering methodologies, concepts, skills, and their application in the area of specified engineering specialty.
  • Works on projects under aggressive timelines with a requirement for very high quality.
  • Designs, develops automated test scripts for new software and web services. Provides support for applications under development and enhances current applications.
  • Assists in the roll-out and monitoring of software releases.
  • Provides quality assurance guidance throughout the design, development and testing process and direction with regards to practices, procedures and techniques. Serves as a guide and mentor for junior-level Quality Engineers.
  • Evaluates and plans software development activities, performs code and test script reviews, and provides test plans, test results and documentation.
  • Participates in researching, writing, and editing of documentation and technical requirements, including sequence diagrams, software designs, demos, acceptance criteria, test results, technical manuals, monitoring plans, support strategies, and any retrospective recommendations.
  • Displays in-depth knowledge of engineering methodologies, concepts, skills, and their application in the area of specified engineering specialty.
  • Displays in-depth knowledge of, and ability to apply, process design and redesign skills. Presents and defends design and technical choices to internal audiences.
  • Displays knowledge of, and ability to apply, project management skills, and good decision-making.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
