Contract Duration: 24 months
Work Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday; minimum 3 days/week in-office (6+ hours/day)
About the Role
We're looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Data Analyst to support data enablement and management initiatives within the Chief Administrative Office (CAO). This role is ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic environments, enjoys solving complex data challenges, and is passionate about delivering scalable, reusable data solutions that drive business impact.
You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to define data use cases, analyze and model data relationships, and ensure alignment with enterprise data governance standards. Your contributions will directly influence how data is leveraged across key business functions.

Responsibilities
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather, refine, and document data use case requirements.
- Design scalable data models and define relationships between data elements with a focus on usability, performance, and accuracy.
- Develop and document requirements for data source integrity monitoring.
- Support database enhancement requests and contribute to logical data design.
- Maintain metadata documentation including data lineage, sharing agreements, and governance artifacts.
- Assess upstream system changes for potential data impacts and provide recommendations.
- Translate business needs into actionable data requirements and technical specifications.
- Collaborate with technology and governance teams to ensure compliance with enterprise data standards.
- 4+ years of experience in analytics, data analysis, or a related field (including consulting, military, or education).
- Proficiency in MSSQL for writing, reading, and optimizing queries.
- Experience with Alteryx and SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) for data cleansing, validation, and transformation.
- Strong documentation skills for data sourcing, transformation logic, and database specifications.
- Familiarity with metadata management and data governance practices.
- Proven ability to perform data profiling and root cause analysis for data quality issues.
- Experience with Google Cloud Data tools (e.g., Dataplex, BigQuery).
- Familiarity with SSIS packages and job scheduling.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving clarity in complex data environments.
