Job Details

Grow your career as a Data Governance Analyst with an innovative global bank working in Irving, TX. Contract role with strong possibility of extension. Will require working a hybrid schedule 2-3 days onsite per week.

This role is about governance and encryption compliance to help the organization reduce and manage the risks related to one of the company's biggest assets: our data. Everything is related to encryption, transmission and storage of data, and other data protection topics. Required Skills & Experience
  • 6+ years of Information Security experience.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office/Excel.
  • Proven analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Data driven and results-oriented.
  • Professional, customer-service oriented.
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Information Security/ ITIL Certifications.
  • Knowledge of company processes and tools like Archer, Cognos, CSI, Business View.
What You Will Be Doing
  • Manage the monthly data protection encryption metrics by researching and analyzing data.
  • Support reconciliation efforts to update monthly compliance reports using various internal applications.
  • Understanding of Compliance Management and Risk & Governance as part of Log Analysis/Reviews/Monitoring.
  • Creating process documentation like Process control manuals, process maps/flow charts, BRDs.
  • Maintain compliance monitoring activities in Excel spreadsheet for audit deliverables.
  • Handling Incident and Problem management. Identifying Root cause (RCA) , corrective (CA) and (PA) for the issues.
  • Display a high level of critical thinking in cross-functional process analysis and problem resolution for new and existing products.
  • Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
  • Work with various groups to identify process gaps and develop training material for internal businesses.
