About the Client
Our client is a global leader in designing, building, and operating advanced data center infrastructure. They believe in revolutionary innovation, operational excellence, and creating an environment where talented people come together to evolve the digital world.

Your work will directly influence how this client scales sustainably, powering some of the most advanced data center and AI environments in the world.

Your work will directly influence how this client scales sustainably, powering some of the most advanced data center and AI environments in the world.
What You'll Do
- Architect automation solutions: take repetitive, manual tasks (e.g., recurring Jira tickets) and design scalable automations using PowerShell, APIs, and integrations.
- Integrate complex systems: tie together Windows, Linux, and VMware environments to create seamless, repeatable workflows.
- Scope and deliver projects independently, setting clear goals and executing with minimal oversight.
- Build and maintain enterprise integrations, ensuring scalability, reliability, and compliance with security best practices.
- Provide dashboards, documentation, and project updates to IT management.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business workflows and design automation to support them.
- Serve as a technical leader within the team, setting standards for scripting, automation, and architectural design.
- Participate in on-call rotation (approx. once every 7 weeks as backup to admins).
What We're Looking For
We want someone who thrives in solving complex challenges with code, thinks like an engineer (not just an admin), and can step into a senior role with confidence and technical credibility.
Must-Haves
- Deep expertise in Windows, Linux, and VMware administration.
- 5+ years of programming/scripting experience, including advanced PowerShell.
- Proven ability to design and implement API integrations across enterprise systems.
- Certifications in at least one of: Windows, Linux, or VMware (Security+ strongly preferred).
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and project scoping skills.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git version control, and authentication/authorization systems (SAML, MSGraph).
- Database experience (SQL, MySQL, Oracle).
- Exceptional communication skills, able to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred
- Security+ or other security certifications.
- Demonstrated success in architecting automations that replace manual processes.
Location & Schedule
- Hybrid role: candidates must live within 1 hour of one of the data center locations (Las Vegas, Reno/Sparks, Austin, Houston, Atlanta, Grand Rapids).
- Typical on-site presence is quarterly, with occasional additional visits for incidents, projects, or team events.
- Core hours: 8am-5pm local, with coverage until 5pm PT to align with West Coast team members.
Compensation & Benefits
- Target salary: $130,000 (opportunity for flexibility).
- Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits.
- Career stability and growth in a rapidly expanding industry.
- Flexible work arrangements with strong remote collaboration support.
- A culture of karma-working with integrity, purpose, and innovation.
Why This Opportunity?
- Be a Builder: Design automations and integrations that redefine what's possible.
- Work With the Best: Collaborate with world-class engineers in cutting-edge AI and cloud environments.
- Advance Your Career: Step into a senior role with the opportunity to make an immediate impact.
- Do Work That Matters: Power the future of the Internet while helping a leading data center grow sustainably.
