Job Details

Title: Application Management Engineer

Location: Northeastern U.S. Region
Employment Type: Full-Time/Perm

Description:
* The Application Management Engineer will play a key role in overseeing all aspects of the organization s diverse end-user computing environment.
* This position is responsible for configuring, testing, deploying, upgrading, and supporting operating systems and a wide range of applications.
* The engineer ensures the stable and efficient operation of the desktop and virtual environments, supporting both physical and cloud-based infrastructures.
* This role is pivotal to maintaining a high-performing user experience and upholding technology standards across the organization.

Required Skills:
* At least 7 years of experience providing application support and development within a Microsoft-based environment
* Expertise in modern desktop and server operating systems
* Strong experience with productivity and collaboration software suites
* Experience with enterprise content management and document automation tools
* Proficiency with enterprise software deployment and configuration management tools
* Familiarity with remote device and endpoint management platforms
* Experience with desktop and application packaging tools and software customization
* Knowledge of user environment and profile management systems
* Hands-on experience with virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) and non-persistent environments
* Strong knowledge of system and user management through directory services and policy-based administration
* Proficient in scripting and command-line automation
* Practical understanding of desktop hardware across major OEM platforms
* Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
* Capable of working independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
* Demonstrated customer service orientation and responsiveness to end-user needs
* Willingness to adapt to new technologies and changing technical landscapes
* Available for rotational after-hours on-call support

Desired Skills:
* Experience working in a professional services or highly regulated environment
* Familiarity with hybrid cloud and desktop-as-a-service solutions
* Exposure to cloud-based deployment and update tools
* Previous experience in managing application patching and vulnerability remediation

Compensation:
Pay Range: $108500K-$155000K
