Job Details

Lead the implementation of Deltek Vantagepoint cloud ERP for a leading engineering and construction firm. Manage professional services vendors and internal teams through the complete project lifecycle from design through deployment.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership

  • Partner with business sponsors to manage executive steering committee, professional services vendors, and internal project teams

Team Management

  • Establish productive team dynamics through daily standups, structured problem-solving, accountability measures, and comprehensive plan management

Executive Communication

  • Create content for and facilitate Executive Steering Committee meetings

Financial Management

  • Track and report project budget against actuals

Risk Management

  • Identify risks, participate in prioritization and mitigation efforts, and escalate appropriately

Deliverables

  • Produce project plans, status reports, budget reports, risk registers, steering committee materials, and key decision tracking documents

Required Qualifications

Experience

  • Minimum 10 years of ERP project management experience

Deltek Expertise

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on Deltek experience

Project Management

  • Proven track record managing complex enterprise software implementations

Leadership

  • Strong ability to manage cross-functional teams and vendor relationships

Communication

  • Excellent executive-level presentation and facilitation skills

Preferred Functional Qualifications

  • Deep understanding of Deltek Vantagepoint functionality including core financials, project management & accounting, and CRM capabilities
  • Experience with data migration and system integration projects
  • Knowledge of engineering/construction industry business processes
  • Change management and user adoption experience
  • Understanding of cloud-based ERP architecture and integration requirements
