Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced SAP Production Planning (PP) Consultant to lead solution design, configuration, and implementation efforts within a dynamic, cross-functional environment. Description: SAP Production Planning Consultant - S/4 HANA
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced SAP Production Planning (PP) Consultant to lead solution design, configuration, and implementation efforts within a dynamic, cross-functional environment. This role requires deep expertise in SAP S/4 HANA, strong collaboration skills, and the ability to drive process improvements across complex business landscapes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead workshops and contribute to process design and solutioning using SAP best practices.
- Collaborate with business SMEs, architects, developers, and vendor consultants to enhance existing systems and support new initiatives.
- Design and implement full-cycle SAP PP configurations; document functional specifications and system changes.
- Translate functional requirements into technical specifications; coordinate with ABAP teams for development and testing.
- Develop and execute test plans, including unit and integration testing.
- Support project delivery phases, including issue resolution and root cause analysis.
- Utilize SAP Solution Manager for documentation and change tracking.
- Independently manage WRICEF object development in coordination with technical teams.
- Contribute to project planning and execution using SAP Activate methodology and Agile (SAFe) practices.
- Ensure compliance with SAP Project Systems and integration with related modules (Sales, Procurement, Costing, Quality, Plant Maintenance).
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
- 8-10 years of experience in SAP Production Planning, including at least one full-cycle S/4 HANA implementation.
- Strong understanding of SAP PP processes including MRP, BOMs, routings, work centers, capacity planning, and FIORI apps.
- Experience in large-scale environments, preferably in Aerospace & Defense.
- Familiarity with SAP S/4 HANA roadmap and innovations across releases.
- Proficient in interface management, user exits, batch jobs, and standard SAP reporting.
- Expertise in discrete and repetitive manufacturing processes.
- Deep knowledge of special planning procedures, interchangeability, ECM/OCM, batch and serial number management.
- Experience with WBS and integration with SAP Project Systems.
- Working knowledge of SAP PPDS and SAP Quality Management.
- SAP certifications in PS or S/4 HANA are a plus.
