Job Details

Role: Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (Contract)

W2/C2C

Location: Phoenix, AZ Onsite

  • Responsible for the infrastructure platform and supporting technology
    Leads the design, build, enhancement, and integration of infrastructure with AET
    Plays an integral role in building and enhancing infrastructure in terms of robustness, scalability, availability, and efficiency
    Leadership accountable for team completing assigned tasks and delivery of quality work

Education & Technology core competencies
Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field required, advanced degree preferred.
Overall 7+ years of industry experience with 5 Years of relevant experience
5+ years of Unix/Linux system administration experience extensively
At least 3 years experience in supporting and maintaining the on-prem production-grade environment in two or more like Redis (Enterprise), Kafka, Elasticsearch and Astronomer etc.
At least 2 years experience in supporting and maintaining the production-grade environment in Terraform or similar IAC tool
At least 2 years experience in supporting and maintaining the production-grade environment in Google cloud (Foundations and Managed services like PSC, Interconnect, Pub Sub, Cloud Run, Memory store etc.

  • At least 2 years experience in supporting and maintaining the production-grade environment in deploying COTS apps in K8 environments like OpenShift or GKE.
    Experience with automation tools (Ansible, Shell Scripts, Python/Java)
    Cluster management, configurations, upgrades, and migrations on Red HatLinux 8 in virtual machines
    Leading big infra migrations programs from on-prem to on-prem, on-prem to Public and Hybrid clouds.
    Extensive experience inLinuxperformance monitoring by using system tools, security setup, troubleshooting and performance tuning as necessary to ensure optimum performance, patching ofLinuxservers on regular schedule
    Eager to learn new technologies in a short time span
    Experience in change management, Incident management, RFC, Problem management & RCA
    Experience in automation to increase efficiency

  • Optimize and streamline troubleshooting and debugging efforts by applying expertise across the infra and app domain.
    Working knowledge of monitoring tools
