Description
Applied AI team is seeking a passionate and talented Solution Architect to join the Applied AI team and help build industry-leading technologies that customers will love. This team offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the customer experience while working with the latest technology. In this role, you'll be the bridge between our customers and our AI agent platform, ensuring the successful implementation and adoption of our technology. As part of a $110M savings goal, we are building a self-service platform where any internal Amazon team can create a virtual AI agent to automate some of their work. Since the platform is not mature, we need a Solution Architect to work with the different teams and help them implement their solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Solution Design & Implementation
Analyze and deeply understand customer use cases, technical environments, and business challenges
Design and build functional AI agents, including creating innovative workarounds for complex scenarios
Guide customers through data identification and preparation processes
Customize agent capabilities to meet specific customer quality requirements
Facilitate successful production deployments by coordinating between technical teams
Customer Success & Support
Provide ongoing support through scheduled office hours
Help customers effectively maintain and manage their AI agents
Lead technical implementation reviews and solution optimization sessions
Bridge communication between customer technical teams and internal resources
Business Development & Knowledge Sharing
Conduct product demonstrations to prospective customers
Identify and develop additional use cases within existing customer environments
Create detailed customer success stories and solution documentation
Develop and maintain best practices, templates, and implementation guides
Document lessons learned and share knowledge through internal wikis and product documentation
Product Evolution
Identify feature gaps based on customer needs and market demands
Collaborate with Product Management teams to influence the product roadmap
Provide detailed technical feedback for product improvement
Required Qualifications:
6+ years of experience in solution architecture or similar technical consulting roles
Strong understanding of AI/ML technologies and architectures
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Superior communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to various audiences
Experience in customer-facing roles and stakeholder management - technical consulting exp is ideal
Strong documentation and technical writing abilities - (Need to be able to write down customer story, solution provided, best practices, lessons learned, recommendations)
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with AI agent technologies or similar platforms
Background in enterprise software implementation
Knowledge of common integration patterns and APIs
Experience in technical pre-sales or solution consulting
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $57.00 - $65.00/hr.
