Summary:
Nammo Pocal is looking for an experienced and results-driven Quality Control Manager / ISO Management Representative with 5+ years of leadership experience in Quality control. Adept at developing, implementing, and managing robust quality assurance programs in compliance with ISO 9001, and MIL-STD requirements. Proven success leading cross-functional teams in complex, high-reliability environments, driving continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting defense programs from prototype to full-rate production.

Primary Responsibilities:
Ability to lead a team of Inspectors/supervisors within the Quality Department
Understanding of quality assurance methodologies and standards: Knowledge of ISO 9001 and other relevant quality standards is required
Train Quality Control Personnel to perform quality inspections and testing of metal parts and assemblies.
Develop and maintain Quality Plans including specific inspection methods for products and processes based on customer Specifications and Drawings.
Maintain existing quality management system including updating MI's, SOP's and other written procedures.
Oversee and maintain a gage calibration system
Oversee Receiving and In-Process Inspection as needed.
Coordinate inspections to accommodate production needs.
Manage internal audit program including performance of external and internal audits.
Lead the Quality department during QMS audits and First article inspection testing
Coordinate and perform any applicable quality destructive testing
Serve as the primary interface for DCMA (Defense Contract Management Agency), government representatives, and key defense contractors, successfully managing source inspections and customer audits.
Author and maintain inspection test plans (ITPs), control plans, and quality procedures in accordance with program-specific requirements
Other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications:
Candidate must possess a minimum of 5 years of related experience in Quality Management.
Ability to use and train employees on standard measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, gage blocks, optical comparators etc.
Excellent communication skills: Ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences
Engineering experience preferred
Previous supervision experience preferred
High School Diploma or Equivalent required
Strong organizational and time management skills
Familiar with Military Specifications or equivalent (pharmaceutical, FDA, etc.)
Familiar with ISO 9001-2015
Ability to Read and Understand Drawing requirements
Ability to Understand and implement Gage design (GD&T)
Familiar with SPC
Attention to detail
