DevOps Engineer

Please, no third parties. Permanent residents only. This position is two (2) days per MONTH onsite in San Diego, CA and there is no relocation assistance available.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Groovy scripting.
- Write and maintain PowerShell scripts for various automation tasks.
- Manage and configure Nginx servers for web hosting and application deployment.
- Manage and configure Windows servers for web hosting and application deployment.
- Support Docker containerization and orchestration for development and production environments.
- Collaborate with the team to manage Azure cloud infrastructure, including virtual machines, storage, and networking.
- Manage DNS configurations using GoDaddy and Cloudflare.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Participate in on-call rotations to provide support for critical infrastructure issues.
- Document processes, configurations, and procedures to maintain operational excellence.
- Assist with QA tasks, including writing and executing automated tests using Selenium or other QA scripting tools.
- Work with the QA team to identify and resolve issues in the development and production environments.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with Jenkins and Groovy in a production environment.
- Proficiency with PowerShell scripting for automation.
- Experience managing Docker containers in development and production settings.
- Familiarity with Azure cloud services and best practices.
- Understanding of DNS management and best practices.
- Experience with writing and executing automated tests using QA tools like Selenium is a plus.

Education & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in a distributed systems environment in a DevOps or SRE role
- Bachelors Degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
