Tech Project Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced Investment Banking Tech Project Manager with a strong background in banking, regulatory compliance, and technology. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading complex, cross-functional projects involving IT, business units, and compliance stakeholders. The role will focus on driving large-scale banking initiatives with a strong emphasis on data management, cloud adoption, and the responsible integration of AI and GenAI technologies. Job Responsibilities: Lead and manage large-scale, high-impact projects within the investment banking domain. Ensure project delivery is on time, within budget, and meets defined scope. Coordinate across IT, Business, and Compliance teams to align project goals and regulatory requirements. Manage multiple concurrent projects using agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe). Provide clear communication and regular status updates to stakeholders, managing expectations effectively. Develop and maintain detailed project plans, risk assessments, and issue resolution frameworks. Promote and oversee the adoption of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) and best practices for data management. Lead initiatives incorporating AI and GenAI into banking processes in compliance with internal and regulatory policies. Ensure all project activities adhere to banking compliance standards and governance protocols. Monitor key project performance metrics and drive continuous process improvement. Required Skills: Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional projects involving IT, business, and compliance units. Deep understanding of banking operations, regulatory landscapes, and compliance frameworks. Strong project management skills with expertise in risk and issue management Hands-on experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Experience managing projects related to data management and cloud migration. Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities. Familiarity with agile methodologies including Scrum, Kanban, SAFe. Preferred Skills: In-depth knowledge of banking regulations and compliance standards. Experience managing data security and privacy in cloud-based environments. Familiarity with AI and GenAI tools and platforms. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Preferred: PMP (Project Management Professional) PMI-ACP (Agile Certified Practitioner) Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Experience: Minimum 10+ years of project management experience within the Investment Banking domain. Minimum 1 year of experience managing projects involving AI, GenAI, or advanced analytics. Proven success in managing multi-stakeholder technology projects with compliance integration.
