SUMMARY: This hybrid Business Analyst / Project Manager position serves as a cross-functional link between business teams and software development. The role focuses on gathering and refining business requirements, supporting backlog management, and facilitating collaboration across departments. The ideal candidate will work closely with Project Managers and developers to ensure clear communication, effective prioritization, and smooth delivery of technology solutions.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and the development team to gather, document, and refine user requirements and user stories.
  • Collaborate across multiple business units depending on project scope to ensure alignment and shared understanding of objectives.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies including backlog grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  • Research and evaluate potential solutions in collaboration with both technical and business partners.
  • Support troubleshooting and perform root-cause analysis on system issues to identify and document actionable resolutions.
  • Track project progress, communicate updates, and ensure deliverables align with established timelines and goals.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Manager.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into clear technical requirements.
  • Experience working in a cross-functional environment involving both technical and non-technical teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for facilitating meetings, documenting requirements, and presenting findings.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives.

STAND-OUT CANDIDATES WILL POSSESS
