Pay Rate: $45.00 - $50.00 per hr.

The Customer Authentication Engineer manages the day-to-day maintenance and operation of Authentication and related security systems to ensure that controls are adequate and effective in protecting customers, the environment, and employees.

Primary Responsibilities

• Contractor role to help onboard a new application that is used for the account origination flow.
• Customer authentication is key to bringing on new customers
• Provide a frictionless right-onboarding process
• Agile squad - agile environment experience is a must
• Working with identity provider - Okta, preferred
• Orchestration tools: Transmit, strata,
• Working to build out the authentication journey
• Application is built in Java / JavaScript
• Customer Authentication delivers or CIAM process to help with onboarding

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree and four (4) years of experience in Information Security/Technology High School Diploma or GED and eight (8) years of experience in Information Security/Technology
• Java/JavaScript
• Okta or Optzero products preferred
• Central or Eastern time zones (can be fully remote)
• Experience with Agile methodology and SDLC concepts/tools (Git, Atlassian stack)
• Experience with cloud-based technologies and environments such as AWS and Azure
• Experience with Linux/Unix, Windows, scripting (with programming languages such as Bash, PowerShell, or Perl), SQL, LDAP, and web services
• Ability to articulate complex technical concepts/scenarios to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Familiarity with FIDO, WebAuthn, OTP, Biometrics, and multifactor authentication (MFA) platforms
• Financial services experience
• Relevant security certifications (e.g. CISSP, CIAM, etc.)
• Strong understanding of Active Directory, LDAP, RADIUS, NTLM, Kerberos, and ADFS
• Strong understanding of SAML, OAUTH, OIDC, and JWT
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP network security principles and troubleshooting

Bonus Skills:

• Banking experience is highly preferred (origination process is regulated)
• Cloud - AWS is beneficial but not required
