Job Title: Scrum Master / Project Manager


Location: Jersey City, NJ [OR] Coppell, TX ( Choose Any 1 )


Hybrid: 3 days Onsite & 2 days REMOTE


Duration: 6 Months (CONTRACT TO HIRE)



Skills & Experience Needed:



  • 3-5 years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Project Manager

  • Must have financial industry experience - understands financial terminology, systems, and regulatory environments

  • Experience supporting application teams, not infrastructure

  • Ability to manage application delivery cycles, releases, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations.



  • Solid hands-on Agile experience: Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, backlog refinement, retrospectives

  • Strong coordination with product owners, developers, QA, and business stakeholders

  • Experience with application development lifecycle, user stories, acceptance criteria

  • Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, or Agile lifecycle tools

  • Experience tracking and reporting Agile metrics (burn-down, velocity, capacity, impediments)

  • Ability to shield the team, remove blockers, and improve delivery flow

  • Knowledge of regulatory/financial deliverables such as: Risk assessments, Compliance checkpoints, Audit documentation, financial data environments



Nice-to-Have:



  • SAFe Certified (CSM, PSM, SAFe SM)

  • Experience working in multi-team or scaled Agile environments

  • Background in business analysis or project management
