Enterprise Architect - IT

Job Summary:

• We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to lead the strategic design and implementation of our IT architecture across North America. In this influential role, you will shape the architecture for a dynamic and hybrid system landscape supporting all business lines. Your work will ensure a cohesive digital ecosystem through the development of target and transition architectures spanning applications, data, and technology.
• You will collaborate closely with executive leadership to define the long-term IT roadmap and will represent North America in global architecture committees. This is a key leadership position responsible for aligning regional priorities with the group s enterprise architecture standards and ensuring compliance, integration, and scalability across all IT initiatives.

Job responsibilities:

• Define and evolve the enterprise architecture blueprint for the North America digital ecosystem, aligned with global standards and regional business needs.
• Lead the development of transition and target architectures across application, data, and technology domains.
• Represent North American interests and technology landscape in global architecture committees.
• Apply and enhance enterprise architecture practices including:
• Methodologies (e.g. TOGAF)
• Architecture design and schemas (e.g. LucidChart)
• Tools (e.g. Avolution Abacus)
• Architecture governance processes (e.g. Architecture Reviews)
• Drive proof-of-concept projects to evaluate and validate emerging technologies.
• Manage the application portfolio using architecture tools; conduct regular lifecycle management reviews.
• Identify and address gaps between baseline and target architectures, and define the strategic roadmap.
• Ensure architecture and solutions are compliant with regulatory and security requirements (IC, SOX, SOD, cybersecurity).
• Communicate and align architecture principles, whitepapers, and strategy with regional and global stakeholders.
• Present landscape strategy to IT executive leadership, build consensus, and support decision-making.
• Champion modern integration platforms, API/microservices architecture, and cloud-native design.

Minimum Knowledge and Skills Required

• Bachelor s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field; Master s degree preferred.
• 15+ years of experience in leading large-scale, full lifecycle IT projects.
• 6+ years of experience in enterprise or solution architecture roles.
• 3+ years of experience with:
• Cloud architecture (Azure preferred)
• API/microservices architecture
• Mobile/Web/ERP applications
• Proficiency with enterprise architecture methodologies (TOGAF or similar).
• Experience with architecture tools (e.g. Avolution Abacus) and design platforms (e.g. LucidChart).
• Strong knowledge of modern integration platforms and architectural frameworks.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, project management, and problem-solving skills.
