Role: SAP Master Data Governance Workstream Lead - SAP S4 Hana

Location: Remote (required to go to Hayward, CA only 2 times throughout the year.)

Duration: 6-12+ Month

Client: Pharmaceutical company

We need a Master Data Governance Workstream Lead. This is for a Pharmaceutical company, the candidate will get the name of the client when he speaks with our SAP account manager.

This is a remote position but the candidate might be required to go to Hayward, CA only 2 times throughout the year. The client will cover the travel. The project is 6 months but will probably go 1 year.

Must Have Candidate needs S4 Hana greenfield/Brownfield implementation experience.

Must have at least 3 Full life Cycle Implementation Experience

Client is seeking a Master Data Governance Workstream Lead, to Lead Master Data in all aspects for all implementation phases, new acquisitions and upgrades for our client. This is a Contract/ Remote opportunity

  • Possesses foundational business knowledge and is capable of, and interested in, learning about the customer s business.
  • Can anticipate tasks, activities, responsibilities, and plan for next steps.
  • Enjoys leading and mentoring others, as well as executing tasks and activities

What you will be doing:

  • Develop a deep understanding of customers business, processes, services, products, and customers
  • Develop relationships with project leads and Subject Matter Experts, and all future customer end users
  • Speak in a way that resonates with end users; avoid using SAP-technical jargon.
  • Lead Master Data in all aspects for all implementation phases, new acquisitions and upgrades
    • Promptly provides master data and analysis on request and does what is necessary to find the data and answer data questions.
    • Function as a player and a coach this is both a supervisory, mentoring and execution role
    • Define and own customer s Master Data strategy, governance, standards and framework (to be done in a coordinated fashion with the SI and customers PM).
    • Define standards, naming conventions, ownership models, and validation rules across sites and any new acquisitions (to be done in a coordinated fashion with the SI and customer s PM).
    • Own and oversee Master Data operations, related training and testing, harmonization execution, governance, policies, reports, lists, analyses.
    • Coordinate across sites and teams, and across/between MSP, AMS provider, consultants, contractors, VARs Responsible for designing and leading cutover planning (Master Data perspective).
    • Provide training, direction, supervision and oversight to Master Data Specialists, whether contractors, interns, or employees.
    • Identify risks and develop risk mitigation plans.
    • Ensures customer complies with SI defined data requirements and utilizes SI provided baseline data conversion templates.
    • Identify, execute, and teach others how to use, selected master data / data migration tools and templates (to be done in a coordinated fashion with the SI)
      • ETL tools, load programs, LSMW, BODS, SAP Data Services.
      • Reconciliation, mock loads, error handling, audit trails.
    • Collaborate with and support all Validation efforts
    • Time permitting, supports and executes testing, test script creation/adaptation and BPPs, teaches specialists how to do the same.
