Location: Tampa, FL/Dallas, TX/ Jersey city, NJ

Duration: Long-term

Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and maintain Python-based applications and APIs.
  • Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following best practices.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers, data engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate systems.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize code for performance and scalability.
  • Implement data storage solutions (SQL/NoSQL databases).
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving coding standards.
  • Automate tasks and workflows to improve development efficiency.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and Python frameworks.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in Python and its frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask, FastAPI).
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and design principles.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, web services, or microservices architecture.
  • Familiarity with databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.).
  • Knowledge of version control systems (Git/GitHub/GitLab).
  • Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with testing frameworks (PyTest, UnitTest) and debugging tools.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment with strong communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
  • Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Experience in data analysis, machine learning, or automation using Python libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, etc.).
