Role: Java/Python Developer

Location: Iselin, NJ (Hybrid Onsite)

Duration: 12 Months

Client: Financial Services

key responsibilities

o Develop debug and maintain applications using Python/Java

o Design, create and execute test scenarios and test cases to validate developed solutions

o Collaborate with cross functional teams to drive their requirements and provide technical insights.

o Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis and ensure timely resolution.

o Document processes, technical steps, and testing outcomes.

Required skills and qualifications

o Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field (or equivalent work experience)

o 1-3 years of experience in Python or Java programming

o Strong analytical and problem solving skills

o Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders

o Team-oriented mindset with attention to detail

Nice-to-Have Skills

o Knowledge of working with SQL databases

o Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g. Git)

o Understanding of software development cycle (SDLC) and agile methodology

o Familiarity with cloud platforms AWS
