Rezult Group continues to make great strides toward enhancing the technology services community nationwide. We are consistently looking for qualified professionals to join us in achieving success. Currently, we are searching for a Project Manager (EMR) to fulfill an immediate full-time vacancy.
This position is a Full-Time, Direct Hire opportunity that sits onsite in Birmingham, AL for the first 6 months and will transition to a hybrid model (3 days onsite / 2 remote).
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage high-impact healthcare technology initiatives centered on EMR platforms, with a focus on lab and clinical interfaces.
- Facilitate regular meetings with stakeholders, including business units, technical teams, vendors, and leadership.
- Oversee tracking and resolution of project issues while managing scope, timelines, and expectations.
- Prepare and present structured project updates through weekly reports and monthly executive governance sessions.
- Apply structured project methodologies aligned with PMI standards embedded in the organization s delivery frameworks.
- Coordinate multiple concurrent project efforts, ensuring alignment with strategic business goals.
- Collaborate with internal support and clinical teams to integrate EMR solutions within existing workflows.
Position Requirements:
- 5+ years of project management experience (required for senior-level; mid-level roles require 2 3 years).
- 2+ years of hands-on experience leading EMR-focused projects; Cerner or Epic backgrounds preferred.
- PMP certification required for senior-level candidates.
- Background in healthcare IT strongly preferred, particularly with exposure to lab, radiology, or ancillary systems.
- Strong knowledge of software development lifecycles, testing methodologies, and resource planning.
- Familiarity with healthcare compliance standards (HIPAA, CMS, SOX, etc.).
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to engage cross-functional stakeholders.
