TITLE: Senior Application Analyst (Field Mobile)
LOCATION: Atlanta, Ga OR Naperville, Illinois
ANTICIPATED DURATION: Direct Hire

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Systems Analyst to join our technology team. In this role, you will act as a liaison between Business Systems Analysts, third-party administrators (TPAs), BOTS teams, and business stakeholders to refine high-level requirements and ensure end-to-end alignment from analysis through to implementation and support. You will facilitate the creation of detailed functional and technical design documents, support complex technology initiatives, and drive traceability and compliance with governance standards.
Senior Application Analyst Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Business Systems Analysts, TPAs, BOTS teams, and business partners to refine high-level requirements and understand requested changes.

• Lead the creation and enhancement of Functional Design Documents (FDDs) ensuring that business needs are translated into actionable, functional requirements.

• Ensure proposed solutions align with core product functionality (when using COTS systems), reducing unnecessary customization.

• Drive the development of Technical Design Documents (TDDs) that accurately translate functional requirements into technical specifications for seamless development handoff.

• Establish and maintain a Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) to ensure complete coverage in testing and delivery.

• Develop and implement technology solutions for highly complex problems using advanced technical expertise and creativity.

• Prioritize work effectively to meet project deadlines and support commitments.

• Follow and improve production support processes, focusing on root cause identification and long-term resolution.

• Adapt fluidly between production support, incident management, and project responsibilities based on business demand.

• Provide on-call support and serve as a mentor to junior analysts during incidents and project lifecycles.

• Ensure all work aligns with enterprise Technology Organization strategies and governance processes.

• Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to business and technical audiences.

Senior Application Analyst Requirements:

• Bachelor s degree in MIS, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Deep understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• Proven ability to manage multiple assignments and conflicting priorities.

• Experience collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Passion for learning and thriving in fast-paced environments.

• Experience across projects of various scopes including enhancements, full implementations, and production support.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify root causes and drive mitigation efforts.

• Extensive experience with creating/refining Functional and Technical Design Documents and Traceability Matrices.

• Knowledge of standard business analysis methodologies and tools.

• Strong background in supporting applications using public cloud infrastructure (Azure), .NET technology stacks, and mobile platforms.

• Experience with delivery methodologies including Waterfall, Agile (Scrum/Kanban).

• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities.

• Broad technical knowledge across multiple domains.

• Ability to deliver on-call support independently and assist junior personnel in resolving incidents.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify and explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

• ITIL Foundation certification or strong understanding of ITIL best practices.

The compensation range for this position is dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location.
