Job Details

We are seeking a skilled Mainframe Developer with strong expertise in COBOL, JCL, DB2, and VSAM to join our dynamic development and support team. The ideal candidate will have experience with production support, mainframe tools, and working in a fast-paced, business-critical environment.


Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, DB2, VSAM, and JCL

Provide L2 production support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely resolution

Support development and testing environments to ensure smooth deployment

Utilize Broadcom tools such as CA7 and Endevor for job scheduling and version control

Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and implement solutions

Conduct code reviews and participate in system and integration testing

Maintain technical documentation and system configuration records

Stay current with industry trends and mainframe best practices


Requirements:

8 12 years of experience in mainframe development and support

Expertise in COBOL, DB2, JCL, VSAM, and batch processing

Hands-on experience with CA7 and Endevor is a strong plus

Understanding of acquiring/processing domains such as client settlement, clearing, funding, billing, and disputes

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred)

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
