Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Ruby on Rails Developer to join our client s team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in building and maintaining scalable applications, with additional hands-on experience in AWS cloud services and some exposure to React for frontend development.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Ruby on Rails applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Work with AWS services to deploy, scale, and maintain applications in the cloud.
- Integrate front-end components using React where needed.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and agile ceremonies.
Required Skills & Experience
- 7+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on Ruby on Rails.
- Proven experience working with AWS cloud services.
- Some experience with React (comfortable contributing on the front end as needed).
- Strong knowledge of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
- Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
