Job Title : Senior QA Functional & Integration Testing (Business Domain Utilities exp (MUST)
Location: San Francisco, CA
Duration: Long term
Job Type : Contract (We can consider - W2 / C2C )
Responsibilities:
- Test Strategy Execution Develop and implement test strategies, test plans, and test cases applications.
- Ensure comprehensive functional, integration, regression, performance, and UAT testing. Validate APIs, services, and map layers through manual and automated test cases.
- Perform cross-browser and cross-platform testing to ensure consistent application performance.
- Work closely with developers, business analysts, and teams to align testing activities with project requirements.
- Defect Management Quality Assurance Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA, HP ALM, or similar tools.
- Perform root cause analysis and defect triaging, ensuring timely resolution. Ensure compliance with QA best practices, testing standards, and utility industry regulations.
- Provide test progress reports and key metrics to stakeholders.
- Test Automation Tosca Exposure Contribute to test automation initiatives where applicable, particularly in API testing and workflow validation.
- Exposure to Tosca or other automation tools for improving test efficiency.
- Support automation efforts for repetitive validation tasks, though manual testing remains the primary focus.
- Stakeholder Team Management Lead and mentor a testing team, ensuring effective collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Coordinate with internal teams, third-party vendors, and offshore units to execute test cycles smoothly.
- Engage in client discussions, requirement analysis, and testing sign-offs to ensure business expectations are met
