Job Title : Senior QA Functional & Integration Testing (Business Domain Utilities exp (MUST)

Location: San Francisco, CA

Duration: Long term

Job Type : Contract (We can consider - W2 / C2C )

Responsibilities:

  • Test Strategy Execution Develop and implement test strategies, test plans, and test cases applications.
  • Ensure comprehensive functional, integration, regression, performance, and UAT testing. Validate APIs, services, and map layers through manual and automated test cases.
  • Perform cross-browser and cross-platform testing to ensure consistent application performance.
  • Work closely with developers, business analysts, and teams to align testing activities with project requirements.
  • Defect Management Quality Assurance Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA, HP ALM, or similar tools.
  • Perform root cause analysis and defect triaging, ensuring timely resolution. Ensure compliance with QA best practices, testing standards, and utility industry regulations.
  • Provide test progress reports and key metrics to stakeholders.
  • Test Automation Tosca Exposure Contribute to test automation initiatives where applicable, particularly in API testing and workflow validation.
  • Exposure to Tosca or other automation tools for improving test efficiency.
  • Support automation efforts for repetitive validation tasks, though manual testing remains the primary focus.
  • Stakeholder Team Management Lead and mentor a testing team, ensuring effective collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, third-party vendors, and offshore units to execute test cycles smoothly.
  • Engage in client discussions, requirement analysis, and testing sign-offs to ensure business expectations are met
