Project Manager with Analytics Experience

Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Project Manager with Analytics project experience for a contract assignment with one of our premier Healthcare services clients in Harrisburg, PA. This role will be remote supporting EST hours. A background in Agile/Scrum/Kanban is required, analytics project experience is a major plus (particularly for healthcare or pharmaceutical industry entities), and it is highly desirable to have experience using Azure Dev Ops Boards (coordinating Sprints, loading backlog, dashboards/reporting, etc). Experience using Clarity or Confluence is also a major plus.

Responsibilities :
The Project Manager with Agile provides effective leadership, coordination, and organization for 1-4 Data and Analytics projects, simultaneously. They will start up projects, create project plans, assign resources, track progress, review financials and hold the team accountable to their deliverables. This position requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, commitment to exceptional results, a strong desire for continuous improvement and the ability to build a collaborative culture within our team. They should be extremely experienced with the solution development life cycle, Application Development and Agile methods as they WILL need to operate in a bi-modal manner (Waterfall and Agile). Candidates should have either a PMP and/or recognizable scrum master certification (CSM, SAFe).

• Develops, refines, validates, and manages project plans and sprints to ensure on time and on budget delivery of major technology initiatives across the enterprise. This includes management of hours and dollars
• Provides overall financial project view to manage the development of budgets, controls and measurements to monitor project progress
• Participates in identifying project costs, resource allocation, project schedule changes and issue escalation
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills. Frequently interacts with IT personnel, business personnel, vendors, consultants and other contractors at various levels, including executives
• Provides timely and concise communications to business and technical leadership regarding project status and pending issues; analyzes processes and makes recommendations for optimizing resources and product delivery
• Builds consensus among multiple leads relative to project scope, task execution, staffing and issue resolution
• Responsible for directing and coaching for Agile processes and ceremonies (sprints, standups, PIs, Retrospectives). Strong working knowledge of Azure Dev Ops boards and facilitation/utilization boards during standups. Familiarity with Azure Dev Ops agile and project metrics.
• Responsible for utilizing project management methods as well as the coordination of internal and external resources required to complete assigned projects
• Identifies and manages project dependencies (internal and external), risks, and proactively manages issues. Familiarity with RAID, and continuous action item follow-up.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of experience as Project Manager/Scrum Master with at least several waterfall projects
• 5+ years of experience managing Information Technology (IT) projects
• Experience with Application Development either as project manager or scrum master
• Experience with software package implementation / roll-out
• Experience using Azure Dev Ops Boards in a project (typically in a Kanban or scrum environment)
• Experience with driving and facilitating PI Planning events utilizing Mural Boards
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, MS Teams)
• Experience with Microsoft Project, (creating, maintaining/updating project plans)
• Strong experience with excel functions and charts (pivots, counts, lookups, formatting)
• Experience with financials: tracking $ actual and ETCs against project baseline
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Good group presentation skills
• Good analytical and critical thinking skills. Good mathematical skills
• Excellent organizational skills. Excellent leadership skills
• Must be willing to travel infrequently (once or twice a year for site meetings...)
• Must have experience with PI Planning events
• Must have experience running Scrum and Kanban within Azure Dev Ops Boards (coordinating Sprints, Kanban board, loading backlog, dashboards, reporting
• Must have experience managing multiple Scrum and Kanban teams simultaneously with Azure Dev Ops Boards (coordinating Sprints, Kanban board, loading backlog, dashboards, reporting
• Knowledge of capacity management and allocation management

Preferred Skills:

• Experience running Scrum and Kanban with Azure Dev Ops Boards (coordinating Sprints, KanBan board, loading backlog, dashboards, reporting...)
• Project Management experience in the field of Data and Analytics. Applicable areas may include working with Platform environments, Architecture Strategy
• Experience with the CA PPM Clarity application for project management
• Experience with ServiceNow
• Experience with Confluence (creating/uploading documentation to Confluence)
• Experience with Microsoft teams for project document management
• Experience with Agile approaches such as User Centered Design, Lean Six Sigma, DevOps Data and Analytics, Master Data Management, ability to manage project financials, Clarity (resources, financial reporting) Jira, Azure DevOps Boards - agile and project metrics.
