Position: Workday HCM Architect
Location: San Jose, CA (5 days/week onsite)
Job Type: 18+ Months Contract
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Information Systems, HR Technology, or related field (required).
- 7+ years of Workday HCM experience in architect/technical lead roles (required).
Hands-on expertise with:
- Advanced Compensation
- Learning Management System (LMS) implementation
- Absence Management
- Strong understanding of HR processes and data structures.
- Proven experience with Workday Studio, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), and Web Services.
- Demonstrated success designing Workday solutions that balance technical requirements with user experience.
- Excellent communication skills: able to clearly explain solutions, ask the right questions, and collaborate across diverse teams.
- Experience working on cross-functional/global teams.
Additional Details:
- Reports directly to the VP, HR Operations (with potential future reporting into a Senior Manager).
- Role is on-site in San Jose, CA remote or hybrid is not an option.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
- Assignment is hourly, contractor-based.
- Weekly timesheet required; overtime and travel must be pre-approved in writing by the hiring manager and executive leadership.
