Job Details

Key Responsibilities: 1. Authorization Management:

  • Submit and track new and extended authorization requests via DASH/Salesforce.
  • Maintain logs of missing or expired authorizations and initiate corrective actions.
  • Liaise with HCS program team and AAH weekly to troubleshoot and resolve authorization-related issues.
  • Ensure alignment between subcontractor services and current member eligibility and authorization status.
  1. Revenue and Payments Oversight:
  • Analyze and reconcile monthly subcontractor invoices with authorizations and Housing Support Plans.
  • Validate invoice submissions for compliance with Medi-Cal billing policies.
  • Implement quality assurance (QA) procedures to prevent overpayments and identify ineligible claims.
  • Coordinate with finance to track revenue and expenditures for HCS, using Salesforce reporting tools.
  1. DASH/Salesforce Enhancements:
  • Partner with ITD and Salesforce consultants to:
    • Automate authorization workflows and extensions.
    • Develop standardized financial and operational reports.
    • Integrate HMIS Housing Support Plan data into DASH.
    • Update subcontractor invoice logic to align with updated program policy.
  1. Process Improvement:
  • Assess current operational inefficiencies and recommend streamlined solutions.
  • Document revised workflows for staff and provide training/support as needed.
  • Collaborate on the implementation plan for broader quality oversight initiatives.
  1. Compliance and Quality Oversight Support:
  • Support early review of Housing Support Plans.
  • Assist in preparing for audits, re/credentialing of subcontractors, and maintaining compliance records.
  • Support monthly meetings and documentation for each subcontractor as part of enhanced quality review.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, Health Policy, or related field (Master s preferred).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Medi-Cal billing, health services administration, or related fields.
  • Experience working with Managed Care Organizations (MCOs), particularly in Medi-Cal or CalAIM programs.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce, Microsoft Excel, and large-scale data management.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Experience in interpreting program policies and aligning administrative systems accordingly.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams, including IT and program staff.
