Senior Human Resources Generalist

Immediate need for a Senior HR Generalist for an established and growing global manufacturing company. This company is in a growth phase and this person will play a vital role as a strategic partner for the company (roughly 450 employees, 2 sites within 10 miles of each other). This role involves fostering strong engagement levels among all employees and leaders, helping to manage bargaining activities, overseeing organization initiatives, cultivating an engaged work culture, and fostering positive employee relationships. Additionally, this person will steer the performance and talent management processes. There is a strong upward mobility progression model in place.
Select Responsibilities:
Coaching, influencing and engaging others
Coach leaders on organization design and effectiveness
Adhere to HR policies, practices, and collective bargaining commitments
Partner during bargaining negotiations
Asses and build leadership bench strength
Use HR Data and metrics to enhance engagement
Champion positive employee relations
Develop and execute recruiting and workforce planning strategies
Create/update position description for new roles
Ensure compliance with state and federal employment laws and company policies
Qualifications
Bachelor s Degree in Human Resources, Social Sciences, or Business
5+ years of relevant experience with a strong preference for manufacturing
4+ years HR Experience
Familiarity with HRIS (Success Factors/Workday/SAP is a +)
Preference for unionized experience
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, Project Planning and Office
