Senior Data Scientist

Chicago IL 3 Days Hybrid onsite

Duration: contract Hire

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing advanced statistical models and machine learning algorithms to solve complex business problems.
  • Analyzing large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform business decisions.
  • Leading data science projects, guiding junior team members, and ensuring the quality and timely delivery of results.
  • Effectively communicating complex data insights and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Mentoring junior data scientists, providing guidance on best practices, and helping them develop their skills.
  • Developing and implementing solutions to optimize processes, improve decision-making, and drive business growth.
  • Conducting exploratory data analysis to understand data characteristics and identify potential areas for further investigation.
  • Designing and implementing evaluation frameworks to assess the performance of machine learning models.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Life Sciences and Health care industry experience are required
  • Advanced statistical modeling and machine learning techniques .
  • Proficiency in programming languages like Python and R .
  • Experience with big data technologies and tools .
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills .
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills .
  • Experience leading and mentoring teams .
  • Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights .
  • Candidate should be willing to relocate to IL Chicago 3 days onsite and 2 days remote
