RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Salt Lake City, UT that is seeking a Facilities Project Manager.
Summary:
We are a leading manufacturer serving the mining industry, delivering high-quality products designed to meet the surging demand of our customers. As we expand into new strategic locations and look to improve the logistics of our current operations, all to better serve our markets, we are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead these initiatives from planning through execution.
The Project Manager will oversee the development and execution of new site projects strategically located to enhance customer service and operational efficiency. This role requires strong project management expertise, operational knowledge, and the ability to coordinate across functions to ensure facilities are successfully launched and integrated.
Responsibilities:
* Lead end-to-end project management for new location development, including site selection, permitting, design, construction, and operational startup
* Partner with leadership to align projects with the company's strategic growth initiatives
* Develop and manage project plans, budgets, schedules, and risk assessments to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, engineering, supply chain, sales, and external contractors
* Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and regulatory requirements throughout all project stages
* Provide clear reporting on project progress, milestones, and financial performance to senior leadership
* Promote continuous improvement and best practices in project execution and operational readiness
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or a related field (Master's a plus)
* PMP or equivalent certification preferred
* 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in manufacturing, industrial, or mining-related industries
* Demonstrated success managing large-scale, capital-intensive projects from inception to completion
* Strong understanding of construction, permitting, and regulatory processes
* Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
* Proficiency in project management software and tools

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
