Title: Practice Head - Digital Engineering

Location: Remote with travel(expense paid)

Duration: FTE

Job Description:

Role Summary:

  • We are seeking a strategic, client-facing leader to head our Digital Engineering practice in the US. The ideal candidate will be a compelling technology storyteller and a credible partner to CIOs, CTOs, and Chief Digital Officers ,someone who can articulate modernization strategies, own the solution roadmap, and build confidence in our digital engineering capabilities.
  • This role blends technical leadership, pre-sales engagement, and practice development. While deep hands-on coding is not expected, the candidate must demonstrate a strong grasp of modern cloud-native engineering principles, understand architectural trade-offs, and confidently lead conversations around application modernization, platform strategy, and transformation at scale.

Key Responsibilities:

Own the growth and positioning of the Digital Engineering practice in the US market, aligning with enterprise digital transformation trends.

Lead CXO-level engagements: shape and present digital modernization roadmaps, cloud migration strategies, and next-gen platform solutions.

Collaborate with client executives to diagnose current-state platforms, define business-aligned technology outcomes, and co-create future-state architectures.

Partner with internal engineering teams to translate client needs into scalable and viable solution architectures, with an emphasis on cloud-native, microservices-based, and event-driven design.

Act as a technical sales leader in RFPs, pursuits, and account expansion efforts ,owning the digital engineering narrative and value proposition.

Support the talent model and capability build-out, ensuring the practice has a modern, scalable bench of architects, engineers, and consultants.

What We're Looking For:

10 15+ years of experience in digital engineering, enterprise architecture, or cloud platform leadership, with significant experience in client-facing roles.

Strong knowledge of cloud-native architecture and modernization patterns - including microservices, containerization (Kubernetes/Docker), API-first platforms, event-driven systems, and CI/CD.

Familiarity with Azure (preferred), AWS or Google Cloud Platform and their PaaS offerings, especially as they relate to building resilient, scalable, and distributed applications.

Ability to simplify and communicate complex architecture trade-offs, system design decisions, and modernization priorities to senior client stakeholders.

Proven ability to engage in pre-sales: lead discovery workshops, shape solution proposals, define transformation roadmaps, and influence large deals.

Strong storytelling skills - able to synthesize strategy, architecture, and business impact into a coherent vision.

Previous experience working in or leading digital transformation programs in large enterprises is highly desirable.

Experience across domains such as retail, BFSI, healthcare, or telecom is a plus.

Success in This Role Looks Like:

Winning trust and budget from CIOs and CTOs through credible advisory and solutioning.

Driving repeatable and referenceable wins in digital engineering deals.

Establishing a technically grounded but commercially savvy leadership voice within client accounts and internally across the firm.

Building a scalable and skilled digital engineering team ready to deliver on modernization mandates.
