Playwright QA

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Charlotte, NC that is seeking a Playwright QA with strong experience with TypeScript and UI/API testing using Playwright. This is a high-impact role on a fast-paced team working on distributed, integrated systems for a Fortune 500 environment. Ideal candidates thrive under pressure, solve problems independently, and consistently go above and beyond-through open-source contributions, certifications, or side projects.

Responsibilities:
* Write robust, scalable tests using TypeScript (JavaScript alone is not sufficient)
* Build and maintain automated UI and API test suites using Playwright
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-moving, integrated systems environment
* Ensure test coverage and quality across complex, distributed architectures
* Participate in code reviews and continuously improve test strategies
* Analyze and troubleshoot failures across environments
* Demonstrate strong ownership and the ability to work autonomously

REQUIREMENTS:
* Hands-on experience with Playwright for both UI and API test automation
* Experience with distributed/integrated systems and associated testing challenges
* Proven TypeScript proficiency in a QA/test engineering context
* Strong problem-solving skills and clear, proactive communication
* Comfortable working independently in high-pressure, deadline-driven settings
* Strong relational database knowledge (SQL)
* Bonus: Active GitHub with original projects, open-source contributions, or relevant certifications

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
