Description
We are looking for a skilled Help Desk Analyst to provide on-site technical support for a retail company in Commerce, California. In this contract position, you will assist end users by resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues while ensuring minimal disruption to daily operations. If you are passionate about delivering excellent customer service and have hands-on experience with Windows operating systems and IT troubleshooting, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:
Respond promptly to user support tickets and inquiries, ensuring efficient resolution of technical issues.
Troubleshoot and resolve problems related to desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
Install, configure, and perform upgrades for hardware and software as needed.
Identify and address network connectivity issues to maintain smooth operations.
Execute system imaging, deployments, and migrations to support IT infrastructure needs.
Manage password resets and resolve account access concerns for users.
Track and maintain an inventory of IT equipment and assets.
Set up workstations and equipment for new employees to facilitate seamless onboarding.
Ensure adherence to IT security protocols and company policies.
Provide attentive and courteous on-site support to all users.
Requirements
At least 1 year of experience in a technical support or help desk role.
Proficiency in using Active Directory for user account management.
Strong skills in troubleshooting issues with Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 and its suite of applications.
Ability to handle service desk tickets and resolve them efficiently.
Experience working with Mac OS and cross-platform environments.
Knowledge of basic IT troubleshooting techniques.
Possession of CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent is preferred.
