POSITION OVERVIEW
As a Data Engineer your roles and responsibilities will include:
  • Building Data Pipelines: Design and create scalable ways to move and transform data (ETL/ELT) from various sources.
  • Connecting Systems: Develop and manage secure API connections across internal and external platforms.
  • Powering AI/Automation: Help implement and support data solutions for AI/Machine Learning, automation tools, and predictive analytics.
  • Ensuring Data Quality: Monitor our data systems and put processes in place to keep our data accurate, secure, and well-governed.
  • Enabling Reporting: Work closely with Business Intelligence and technology teams to make sure everyone has the data they need for seamless reporting and actionable insights.
  • Exploring New Tech: Research and implement new data technologies to stay ahead of the curve.
QUALIFICATIONS
Most importantly, you need to be a passionate Data Engineer who enjoys his work and is considered to be one of the best within your organization. The ideal Data Engineer
would be someone with deep experience in many (if not all) of the following:
  • Bachelor s degree required.
  • 3 5 years of experience in data engineering, systems integration, or automation.
  • Proficient in SQL Server, T-SQL, and Azure SQL for database development.
  • Experienced with Azure Data Factory and other ETL tools for data integration.
  • Skilled in API management platforms like Azure API Management and MuleSoft. Hands-on expertise with Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Apps for data visualization and automation.
  • Strong in building data models, dashboards, and predictive analytics.
  • Knowledgeable in data security, compliance, and governance frameworks.
  • Experienced working in Agile teams and managing cross-functional cloud-based projects, primarily on Microsoft Azure.
