  • Lead roadmap planning, sprint execution, and Agile ceremonies
  • Define and measure product KPIs, user engagement, and adoption metrics

Business Analysis & Communication
  • Gather and document requirements via interviews, workshops, and workflow reviews
  • Facilitate cross-functional discussions to align GIS capabilities with business needs
  • Communicate complex GIS concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Conduct user feedback sessions, demos, and iterative design validation

Technical Acumen & GIS Development Insight
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to build applications using:
  • ArcGIS JavaScript API 4.x
  • Calcite Components
  • React.js
  • Vite
  • Guide API integration using REST, GeoJSON, and Web Feature Services (WFS)
  • Support deployment in cloud-native environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
  • Align product planning with DevOps workflows:
  • CI/CD pipelines
  • Docker/Kubernetes containerization
  • Infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform)

Requirements

Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years in a GIS Product Owner, Technical Business Analyst, or GIS Development Lead role
  • Strong experience with ArcGIS JavaScript API 4.x and Esri web app tools
  • Familiarity with React, Vite, and modern front-end development
  • Excellent facilitation and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Proven experience in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Experience with cloud-native GIS architecture or microservices-based systems

Preferred Skills
  • Experience with ArcGIS Experience Builder, Web AppBuilder, and ArcGIS Enterprise administration
  • Familiarity with spatial databases (PostGIS, Snowflake, SQL Server Spatial)
  • Knowledge of geospatial libraries (Turf.js, Mapbox GL JS, Deck.gl)
