Job Details

We have been retained by our client with teams working onsite near downtown Houston, to deliver a senior-level Oracle Consultant, on a contract basis.




  • 100% in the office in near downtown Houston.

  • 40 hour work weeks. M-F, some flexible hours.



We seek to hire an ORACLE integration consultant for Oracle eBusiness Systems, release R12.2.10. This person will work effectively under minimal supervision and provide Technical support for developing and supporting customizations and extensions in Oracle Financials (Oracle Fixed Assets) and/or Oracle Projects. This position will support business users, participate in all relevant change management activities, and overall service delivery and customer satisfaction. This will require interaction with core business users and the need to work as a team member of a large Oracle support team.




  • Provides technical development and support for Oracle eBusiness Systems Modules, Oracle Financials (Oracle Fixed Assets) or Oracle Projects.

  • Collaborates with customers to ascertain system specifications and business/technical requirements to create spec documents that meet their needs.

  • Responsible for completion of all required Change Management tasks and relevant SOX control requirements (if applicable).

  • Utilize industry accepted project management principles, methodologies, tools, and best practices throughout the project life cycle.

  • Acquire and utilizes business knowledge by taking advantage of available resources (internet, books, periodicals, classes/workshops, conferences, etc.) to develop and deliver business expertise solutions.

  • Tracking deliverables of features and provide reporting to management as needed.



QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:




  • Role requires strong knowledge of Oracle Projects and integrations with Inventory, EAM, OTL, AP, and FA.

  • Bachelor of Science degree from a 4-year accredited university, or 5+ years of related industry or technical experience is required.

  • At least 5 years of experience working with ORACLE EBS Data model (Oracle eBusiness). Must have experience with Oracle Projects (Project Accounting, Project Billing and Project Cost Management) and its integrations within EBS Inventory, Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), Oracle Time and Labor (OTL), Fixed Assets (FA) and Accounts Payable modules. techno-functional experience with ORACLE Project Costing, Accounting, Project Billing and Integrations with Inventory, Enterprise Asset Management, ORACLE Fixed Assets (FA), Oracle Financials, ORACLE Accounts Payable modules.

  • 5+ years of experience with SQL, PL/SQL & BI Publisher reporting and Oracle Workflow Builder.

  • 5+ years of experience with the backend table structures / data models for the Oracle eBusiness system (EBS) module is required.

  • Experience in Oracle Database 19C, or a higher version, is required. Oracle Financials or Oracle Projects version 12.0 or higher.

  • 3+ years of programming experience in Oracle Apex is desirable.

  • Experience on personalization and extensions in Oracle Applications Framework (OAF) is preferred. Oracle Fixed Assets (FA) as part of Oracle Financials is preferred.

  • Experience working in a team with a larger number of developers is preferred.




RESPONSIBILITIES




  • Remediating and validating EBS application extensions and customizations in the areas of Oracle Financials, Oracle Fixed Assets or Oracle Projects.

  • Working with Oracle Support to find a solution that is feasible and acceptable to implement.

  • Collaborating with IT Teams and business department personnel to complete EBS upgrade from Release 12.2.10 to 12.2.15



Keep in mind: we need someone to assist with (Oracle eBusiness System) EBS upgrade from Release 12.2.10 to 12.2.15



Interview Process: Flexible interview process (video based if the candidate is unable to attend in-person). The job requires that the candidate be available on-site Monday through Friday at offices near the downtown Houston area.



Employment Type: Contract, 6 months or longer Direct hire after the contract is an option.



Salary Range: $80 91 / PER HOUR w-2
