We need HRIS BUSINESS ANALYST W/ BANNER (Higher ed ERP).

Job Title: HRIS Business Analyst with Banner experience
Address: Newark/NJ
Location (on site vs remote): hybrid would be ideal; they will consider remote (although if they are close enough to atleast be onsite day 1 and get their equipment that s helpful)
Duration: 18 months
pay rate: ideally a junior to mid level option in the 2-7 year experience/ $ hour C2C pay range would work. But they are open to slighlty higher (don t need someone that s over the top senior been a manager etc. they just need assistance with the day to day)
Interview Process: 1-2 video

HRIS Business Analyst with Banner experience

Looking for a consultant to assist our Director of HRIS with his day-to-day responsibilities while he's working on the Workday implementation.

Troubleshooting day to day system and data issues within the HR Group

Gathering requirements from the HR group and working directly with the technical teams. The candidate will be able to identify issues and come up with solutions, have a an understanding of what needs to be done technically, what type of reports need to be ran, or how to approach the fixes.

Working through data issues, data gathering, data reporting

HR Banner experience

Banner is manual in nature so we need someone who understand the system and can help with fixes

New configs in Banner

will not really needs skills at the programming level or with SQL, but you should be able to speak with the technical folks about how the problems need to be solved

Functional/technical

Cognos would be a huge plus

HR module of Service now is a plus

Please note the client said please focus on finding someone with the Banner experience. IF Needed he would consider someone with a similar background within Peoplesofts HR Module


Please note-all of the regulatory and compliance stuff below is a bit more secondary. The main need is around supporting the day to day functions within the HR Dept
Responsibilities/Requirements
Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with HR data and reporting requirements. This includes regulatory reporting such as Affordable Care Act, IPEDS, and NJ New Hire Report, as well as surveys, staffing and attrition data, and workforce reporting.
Create and maintain various audit reports, working closely with the data entry team to maintain the integrity of HR data.
Serve as a subject matter expert for the HR/Payroll module of Banner, escalating to Information Services Technology and/or Ellucian support when necessary.
Ensure the security of the HR system by reviewing system access for new and existing users, ensuring that access aligns directly with job functions and duties.
Required Software Skills:
Microsoft Excel (including Chart Summaries and Pivot Tables)
Desired Software Skills:
Ellucian Banner HR/Payroll Module
Cognos
Servicenow HR Service Delivery Module
