JOb role : Overall objective/accountability Education and Experience Specific Requirements APOLIS2024
This role supports the day-to-day operations of a sensory lab, which is responsible for conducting sensory evaluations (taste, smell, texture, appearance) of food products usually for product development, quality assurance, or consumer research. The role is a mix of hands-on food/sample preparation, basic lab support, data handling, and collaboration with the sensory team.
To support sensory lab function including preparation for panel training, test execution, lab and materials upkeep
Proficient computer skills - Excel, Word, Outlook, & Teams
Basic math skills - percentages, conversions, ratios
Desirable: experience in scientific lab or food preparation
Must be a non-smoker
Willing to work around/with potential food allergens (primarily dairy, soy, tree nuts, gluten)
