Job Details

Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Programmer with our client in the financial industry located Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract position.

Responsibilities:
  • Work within a global Application Support Engineering Organization; as part of a small global
  • Establish a unified tooling and automation strategy that enables scalable, consistent, and efficient solutions
  • Produce high-quality documentation that contributes to the efforts aligned to the wider program
  • Work collaboratively with developers, product managers, engineers, and other subject matter experts to create clear and concise technical documents, including user guides, API documentation, blueprints and best practice standards
  • Create, edit, and maintain user manuals, developer guides, release notes, and other technical documentation
  • Translate complex technical concepts into user-friendly language
  • Collaborate with SMEs and product teams to gather technical information
  • Develop and manage content in documentation platforms such as Confluence
  • Ensure documentation is accurate, complete, and meets quality and style standards
  • Update documentation with new product releases and changes
  • Work with UX and support teams to improve content discoverability and usability
Requirements:
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized Technical Writer
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in documentation tools such as HTML / CSS, MS Office, GitHub, JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint
  • Familiarity with software development processes and agile methodologies
  • Strong strategic mindset
  • Strong risk mindset with process and controls background
  • Actively debate and escalate issues and concerns
  • Demonstrated understanding of internal control discipline and operational excellence
  • Effective partnering and relationship management skills applying a collaborative mindset
  • Strong analytical, logical reasoning and problem solving skills
  • Strong project-management skills; ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Desired skills:
  • Ability to read source code or familiarity with APIs and scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript)
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
Pay range: $55.06 - $63.06
