SAP Project Manager role

Location: Boston, MA (Hybrid)

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of SAP projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives while coordinating across IT, business, and vendor stakeholders to deliver solutions on time, within scope, and budget. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP program delivery, large-scale transformation initiatives, and executive-level stakeholder engagement. This role requires expertise in governance, risk management, and driving value realization through SAP RISE deployments.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of SAP S/4HANA on RISE transformation projects.
  • Define project scope, objectives, timelines, budgets, and success criteria.
  • Coordinate activities across functional, technical, integration, and data migration workstreams.
  • Ensure alignment with SAP Activate methodology and RISE implementation standards.
  • Track and manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and escalations.
  • Support business process improvements enabled by S/4HANA capabilities.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders and business sponsors.
  • Facilitate effective communication among business teams, IT, and vendor partners.
  • Provide timely progress reports and status updates to leadership and governance forums.
  • Oversee change management, training, and user enablement activities to ensure adoption.

Experience & Qualifications

  • 10+ years of SAP program/project management experience
  • 5+ years leading large-scale SAP S/4HANA programs (RISE experience required)
  • Experience in Manufacturing or Apparel industries a plus
  • Proven track record in delivering SAP cloud transformations and migrations
  • Strong knowledge of SAP Activate and large-scale ERP implementation methodologies
  • Experience managing governance, risk, and compliance in global environments
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and executive communication skills
  • Bachelor s degree required; Master s degree a plus
