Job Details

We are seeking a highly skilled Workday Accounting Center Functional Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Workday Financials and Accounting Center with hands-on experience in implementing, configuring, and optimizing accounting rules, mappings, and financial reporting. You will work closely with business stakeholders, finance, and technical teams to ensure Workday Accounting Center is designed and configured to support accurate and efficient accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support Workday Accounting Center implementation and post-production activities.

  • Collaborate with finance and business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document accounting and reporting requirements.

  • Configure accounting rules, source data, transformations, and allocations in Workday Accounting Center.

  • Develop and maintain accounting mappings, validations, and reporting structures.

  • Provide guidance on integration points between Workday HCM, Financials, and external systems.

  • Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end accounting processes through Workday Accounting Center.

  • Troubleshoot functional issues and recommend solutions to optimize system performance.

  • Conduct user training, knowledge transfer, and create functional documentation.

  • Stay updated with Workday releases and provide recommendations on new features related to Accounting Center.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in Workday Financials,

  • specializing in Workday Accounting Center.

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS) and financial processes.

  • Hands-on experience with Workday Accounting Rules, Ledger, Mapping, Allocations, and Reporting.

  • Experience with Workday Integrations (EIB, Studio, Core Connectors, Prism) is a plus.

  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams including finance, IT, and HR.

  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

  • Workday certifications in Financials/Accounting Center preferred.
