Job Title: Marketing Subject Matter Expert (SME)
Location: Remote (Anywhere in the US)
Hire Type: Contract (Part-Time)
Duration: 6 Months+

Role Overview:
We are looking for a Marketing Subject Matter Expert (SME) with strong domain knowledge and analytical acumen to help train, evaluate, and fine-tune AI models for marketing. This individual will serve as the bridge between marketing strategy and AI systems, ensuring that models accurately understand marketing concepts, workflows, and business goals.
The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience across the marketing funnel - from campaign strategy and content creation to analytics and optimization - and a passion for leveraging AI to enhance marketing intelligence and automation.
You will collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and product teams to help build next-generation AI models capable of powering marketing assistants, campaign optimizers, and predictive analytics tools.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor s or Master s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field
12 years of hands-on experience in marketing, with exposure to:
- Campaign strategy and execution (digital, social, performance, and/or brand marketing)
- Marketing automation tools (HubSpot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Marketo, etc.)
- Analytics and measurement workflows (Google Analytics, Looker, Power BI, etc.)
- Customer segmentation, journey mapping, and content strategy
- Media planning, A/B testing, and ROI optimization
- Proven ability to translate real-world marketing problems into structured data or process documentation.
Excellent communication and documentation skills - able to articulate domain logic clearly to technical teams
Experience collaborating cross-functionally with data science, product, or engineering teams.

Ideal Workflow Experience:
The candidate should have practical experience managing or contributing to several of the following workflows:

Campaign Lifecycle Management:
- Brief creation, creative development, approval, launch, tracking, and post-campaign analysis.

Performance Marketing:
- Keyword research, bidding strategy, conversion tracking, and A/B testing.

CRM & Marketing Automation:
- Lead scoring, email drip campaigns, segmentation, personalization, and customer retention programs.

Content Strategy & Social Media:
- Editorial calendar planning, content generation, influencer marketing, and engagement analytics.

Data-Driven Marketing
- Using data to optimize campaigns, build dashboards, and interpret KPIs.

Brand & Communication:
- Managing tone, consistency, and storytelling across channels.
