Job Details

We are looking for a seasoned Engineering Manager to lead our End User Computing (EUC) function and champion the delivery of secure, reliable, and modern digital experiences across the enterprise.

This Engineering Manager demands a sharp eye for detail and a strong commitment to change management, policy compliance, and operational safeguards to ensure minimal disruption to our environment.

The ideal candidate brings deep technical ability and leadership, driving modernization, operational excellence, and user-focused innovation.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead engineering and administration team members who are responsible for enterprise endpoint and device management, including Windows, macOS, and mobile platforms.
  • Oversee critical systems such as Intune, SCCM, OS patching and deployment, enterprise image maintenance, and virtualization technologies (Citrix, Azure Virtual Desktop).
  • Manage mobile device strategies for tablets and smartphones across Android, iOS, and iPadOS ecosystems.
  • Drive enterprise browser operations and strategy, currently leveraging Island.io, ensuring secure and optimized access.
  • Champion digital employee experience modernization by leveraging telemetry and analytics to improve endpoint health, simplify access, and enhance collaboration.
  • Apply engineering principles and architectural thinking to guide technical decisions and system design.
  • Foster automation and efficiency through CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code practices.
  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to align EUC solutions with organizational goals.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and career development for engineering teams.
  • Ensure compliance, security, and operational resilience across all EUC platforms.

Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of systems engineering experience related to digital workplace or end user computing.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. A combination of education and experience may meet qualifications.
  • Expertise in unified endpoint management across Windows, macOS, mobile platforms, and VDI.
  • Deep understanding of Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including Intune and Autopilot.
  • Advanced knowledge of engineering principles, architectural concepts, and solution design.
  • Proven ability to lead technical teams, drive modernization initiatives, and broker architectural decisions.
  • Excellent collaboration, communication, and project management skills across all organizational levels.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a track record of delivering innovative, high-quality solutions under pressure.
  • Familiarity with emerging technologies, including agentic systems and AI advancements.
  • Strong grasp of the DevOps lifecycle with experience in automation and CI/CD pipelines.

This position is fully in office (5 days a week) at the Zions Technology Center - 7860 South Bingham Junction Blvd, Midvale, UT 84047
