Job Summary:
This role is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive tagging strategies to support accurate and privacy-compliant data collection across CVS Health digital platforms. The individual will write detailed tag specifications, conduct user acceptance testing (UAT), and support implementation efforts across various projects. They will also ensure that all data collection practices align with privacy standards and lead remediation efforts when necessary. In addition to hands-on responsibilities, this person will oversee a team of analysts, each managing tagging work for their respective business units, ensuring consistency, quality, and alignment with enterprise data governance objectives. The ideal candidate brings a strong mix of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and cross-functional leadership to scale data capabilities and support enterprise-wide analytics needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive tagging strategies to support accurate and consistent data collection.
  • Write detailed tag specifications to guide implementation across digital platforms.
  • Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate tagging accuracy and functionality.
  • Ensure all data collection practices comply with privacy regulations and internal standards.
  • Lead remediation efforts when data collection issues or privacy concerns arise.
  • Support broader implementation projects by providing tagging expertise and technical guidance.
  • Oversee a team of analysts, each responsible for tagging work within their respective business units.
  • Promote data governance and quality assurance practices to maintain data integrity across platforms.

Required Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience with web analytics tools and tag management platforms (e.g. Adobe Launch, Tealium, Adobe WebSDK, Ensighten, Google Tag Manager, etc.).
  • 3+ years of experience implementing and configuring a mobile/web event tracking solution such as Adobe Analytics is a must.
  • 3+ years of experience with relevant technical experience with an emphasis on writing technical documentation for web analytics, marketing analytics, and/or cx analytics tool is a is a must.
  • 2+ years of experience with leadership/ coaching of team members, resources, and helping to manage and prioritize the backlog.
  • This is a hybrid job located in either MA, RI, or CT.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree
  • Strong knowledge of Adobe Stack preferred (Adobe Analytics, Adobe Launch/DTM, Adobe WebSDK, Adobe Target, Adobe Experience Platform, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Adobe dashboard building to report on key metrics
  • Technical development abilities (Javascript, SQL, etc.) is a plus
  • Experience with data querying languages and tools to aid in analysis dataset development is a plus
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills. Able to present to various audiences.
  • Create and write training materials for new/existing developers
  • Proven skills in managing teams and multiple projects

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (High School Diploma and 5 years relevant
experience)

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$130,295.00 - $284,280.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
