Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Data Modeler with deep expertise in SQL, data modeling, and cloud data platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) or Snowflake. The ideal candidate will design and optimize scalable data models to support business intelligence, analytics, and data integration efforts within the healthcare domain.

Detailed Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain logical and physical data models.

  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to define data architecture standards.

  • Build and optimize data structures in cloud data warehouses (Google Cloud Platform BigQuery or Snowflake).

  • Support ETL/ELT processes and data integration initiatives.

  • Ensure data consistency, quality, and alignment with healthcare data standards.

  • Provide data modeling documentation and metadata management.

Required Qualifications

  • 15+ years of experience in data modeling and data architecture.

  • Strong knowledge of SQL and data warehousing concepts.

  • Expertise with cloud data platforms (Snowflake or Google Cloud Platform BigQuery).

  • Experience using data modeling tools such as Erwin or PowerDesigner.

  • Deep understanding of healthcare data (e.g., claims, EHR/EMR, provider, patient data).

  • Hands-on experience with Python, PySpark, or other scripting tools is a plus.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
