Job Opening: Lead Production Support DB Administrator (IBM Informix & SQL Server)
Location: Richardson, TX 75082 (Hybrid 3 days onsite)
Duration: 6 Months | Start Date: October 10, 2025

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Database Administrator (DBA) with strong expertise in IBM Informix and SQL Server to join our production support team. The ideal candidate will handle database setup, configuration, performance tuning, and data synchronization for critical enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform database administration, setup, and configuration for IBM Informix and SQL Server.

  • Handle database performance tuning, backup, and optimization.

  • Manage data import/export and configuration for data synchronization.

  • Develop and maintain PL/SQL scripts, stored procedures, and other database objects.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure database reliability and scalability.

Must-Have Skills

  • Proven experience with IBM Informix and SQL Server administration.

  • Strong skills in PL/SQL and performance tuning.

  • Hands-on experience with data synchronization and migration.

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with AWS Cloud Services and DevOps/CICD integration.

Experience

  • 8 12 years of hands-on DBA experience.
