Job Title: Senior Business Analyst

Job Location- Remote

Interview Mode- In person/MS teams

Role Summary

• Senior-level role requiring 8+ years of experience
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
• Independently performs a wide variety of complex tasks
• High degree of creativity, latitude, and problem-solving ability expected
• Acts as a bridge between business stakeholders and IT teams

Key Responsibilities

• Review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs
• Translate business needs into functional and technical requirements
• Formulate system solutions aligned with overall business strategies
• Serve as a liaison between business users and IT teams, including:
  • Architecture
  • Project delivery
  • Application sustainment/support
• Perform business process analysis, mapping, and reengineering
• Identify opportunities to apply technology to improve business effectiveness
• Analyze raw data and provide actionable insights
• Prepare solution options and conduct:
  • Risk assessments
  • Cost/benefit analysis
  • ROI analysis
  • Buy vs. build evaluations
• Document detailed user requirements, system functionality, and workflows
• Support development or modification of applications and systems
• Provide oversight of application enhancement documentation and deliverables
• Assist with project and product oversight for system modernization initiatives
• Collaborate with multiple internal and external stakeholders and vendors
• Create, maintain, and improve project artifacts and documentation
• Support ongoing system enhancements and dependent initiatives
• Act as an IT stakeholder for application enhancement efforts
• Ensure alignment across integrated projects and platforms

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of experience reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating business systems
• Proven expertise in requirements gathering and documentation
• Strong experience in business process reengineering
• Ability to identify and implement technology solutions for business problems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience working independently on complex initiatives
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Skills & Experience

• 5+ years serving as a liaison between business teams and IT organizations
• Strong experience as a Data Analyst, including raw data analysis
• Strong experience as a Business Analyst with technical understanding
• Experience working in Agile environments
• Experience working in SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) environments
• Exposure to large-scale system modernization projects
• Project management experience
• PMP certification (highly desirable)
